Process

The entire manufacturing process of the prostheses over implants by means of this CAD/CAM system involves a series of very specific actions

Digitisation
We start with a diagnostic wax-up of the prosthesis we want to build on which we make a wax-up of the structure.

Then the we scan the structure we have waxed-up with the chimneys of the screws covered, obtaining the anatomical part of the structure with the implants not yet positioned.

Later the position of the implants in the model and their connections to the structure are determined by means of scan bodies that are placed to determine the position of the implant.

Computer-aided design
Which is the actual “CAD” step and is carried out by means of specific software. In the modeling program the connections are looked for and the corresponding position is activated. Once the design of the structure to be made has been obtained, we proceed to the manufacture by means of the third processing phase, the forming or “CAM” phase. The result is a high-precision metallic structure with an excellent passive fit.
