Compatibility “BTI Scan® 3” is charaterised by being an open platfom compatible with different CT scanning systems; conventional, spiral, volumetric, etc. that provide a study of the patient's maxillary in DICOM format. It also has an extensive library of implants available to the user for pre-surgery planning on the patient's scan. In addition, it allows you to import studies created with previous versions of “BTI Scan®”.

Configuration of CT Scan Paramaters

Parameters for Helical CT scan with “BTI Scan® 3” Sequence of Axial Sections

The sections must be equal and homogenous (if they are not, the “BTI Scan® 3”, program, when carrying out the diagnosis and simulation, will display them as erroneous and will mark them in black; if the ratio of valid sections/Non-valid sections is higher than 20%, “BTI Scan® 3” will not load the CT scan and will declare it as non-valid.

The thickness of sections must be 1mm maximum; the lower the distance between sections, the higher the quality when viewing them. “BTI Scan® 3” supports submillimetric distances of up to 0.6mm.

Oscillations permitted
Kilovoltaje (Kv) 120 – 160 Kv
Milliamperage (mA) 90 – 140 mA
FOV (Field of View) 12 – 18 cm
SFOV (if available) HEAD
Angle Gantry
Matrix 512 = (512*512)

The reliability of the data and measurements provided by DICOM images obtained with CONE BEAM or VOLUMETRIC scanners can vary depending on the technique, Energy parameters and the equipment used.
