The Third World Conference on Science and Soccer will be held in May 2012 in the picturesque city centre of Ghent, Belgium, an initiative from the International Steering Group on Science and Football and under the auspices of the World Commission of Science and Sports. This conference aims to develop the already successful thematic content included in congresses such as the World Congress of Science and Football by focusing on the subject matter on Association Football or soccer.
